Terms of Service

Hyper Browser for Android · last updated 9 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the Hyper Browser Android application ("the app"), published by GPD Research ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the app, or attempt to pass it off as your own work.

What the app does, and your responsibility for it

The app moves, copies and permanently deletes files on your device and in your Google Drive, at your instruction. Deletions performed by the app may not be recoverable. You are responsible for what you delete and for keeping backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. Do not use the app as your only copy of important data.

Google Drive

Connecting a Google account is optional and entirely under your control. Your use of Google Drive through the app remains subject to Google's own terms. We are not affiliated with Google, and we are not responsible for the availability, behaviour or content of Google's services. Handling of data accessed through Google APIs is described in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only with files and accounts you are authorised to access, and only in compliance with the laws that apply to you.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any file operation will succeed or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for any loss of data, files, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if anything.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Changes and availability

We may update the app or these terms. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms. We may discontinue the app at any time; files already on your device or in your Drive are unaffected.
